Acquisition and utilization of information

Officers and employees must obtain and utilize important information of the company¡¯s competitors or of any interested persons or entities in a fair and legitimate manner for a lawful purpose.

Prevention of Misuse or Misappropriation of Legitimately Obtained Information: Even if any proprietary information has been obtained legitimately, such information may not be used for any purpose other than the proper purposes upon following the relevant reasonable procedures. If there is any restriction on copying, distribution, or publication of any relevant information, such restriction must be complied with. Further, the information must be managed in a transparent and clear manner that there should be no misunderstanding that the information has been misused or misappropriated.
